Often time, we don’t have all the resources we need for mental and physical wellbeing— Here’s a few that could meet various needs.

Access and Crisis Line: (888) 724-7240; Operates 24/7. Call if you are concerned about someone, just need to talk, have questions about how to offer support, or if you are looking for information about community resources.
San Diego County Behavioral Health Services
Alcoholics Anonymous: A nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical organization, available almost everywhere. Open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem
SD Aging and Independence Services: AIS offers a variety of programs to assist seniors with staying active, healthy and involved in their communities.

CA VA: A place to learn about federal and state education, employment, health care, housing, and claims benefits.
Disability Rights CA: Helps with mental health parity issues by providing counsel and advice, technical assistance to file complaints, and direct representation in select cases raising systemic issues.

988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: Call for 24/7 crisis care
Autism Speaks: Families can learn more about the early signs of autism, treatment, prevalence, as well as helpful resources, services, and apps.
The Trevor Project: The Trevor Project is a national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, ages 13–24. Phone service available 24/7 at (866) 488-7386.
Center for Healthy Aging: This website, administered by the National Council on Aging, provides resources on a range of topics including mental health, fall prevention, nutrition, and physical activity.
Domestic Violence Hotline & Resources: Countywide, 24/7, bilingual domestic violence hotline provides confidential support, safety planning and referrals. Call 211 for referrals to local domestic violence shelters.
Postpartum support: Resources for parents struggling with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including risk factors, symptoms, and treatments. Includes support groups and grief resources.
